Welcome to Ston(e)y Lake!

We, the Association of Ston(e)y Lake Cottagers (ASLC), are a group of seasonal and permanent residents who seek to advance the recreational, environmental and other shared interests of Ston(e)y Lakers. We trace our origin to the 1883 American Canoe Association Regatta held at Juniper Island. Read our Land Acknowledgement here.

Formed in 1896, the ASLC is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer Board of Directors. The ASLC runs annual, weekly and daily summer programming for all ages, maintains extensive grounds and facilities on Juniper Island, and monitors/advocates on issues that affect the Ston(e)y Lake community.

While some members have belonged for generations, others have just joined this past summer or a few years ago. Some have owned cottages for many years and some rent annually. We all love the lake and all are welcome!
