The Association of Ston(e)y Lake Cottagers (ASLC) traces its origins to the 1883 American Canoe Association Regatta, which was held at Juniper Island.

Formed in 1896, the Association is is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer Board of Directors. The ASLC sponsors annual, and daily programming, maintains extensive grounds and historic facilities on Juniper Island and monitors issues that affect the Ston(e)y Lake community.

The Association of Stoney Lake Cottagers is a group of seasonal and permanent residents who seek to advance the recreational, environmental and other shared interests of Ston(e)y Lakers.
