ladies luncheon
A tradition going back to the 80's makes it's return on Friday, July 24th at noon. It’s the ASLC Ladies Luncheon. Imagine 50+ women of all ages from teens to let’s say, more “seasoned”, enjoying a potluck lunch on a lovely summer Ston(e)y Lake day. This year’s event is being hosted at Sugar Cottage.
$10 per person if you arrive by boat, $5 per person if you arrive by canoe or kayak, and FREE if you swim over. Boat pooling is recommended because, you know, parking! I'm sure like in years past there'll be volunteers valet parking boats which is a fancy way of saying that they'll be rafted together around the corner.
Bring a salad, dessert or main. Also bring your own cup, plate & cutlery (we're all about avoiding single use as much as possible). And something to drink. And a chair or a cushion of you like.
Never been to a Ladies Luncheon? Don’t worry - everyone is so friendly and welcoming! It's really amazing to see 3 or 4 generations of women all together. Now that's some Ston(e)y Lake history and legacy!
You don't have to register - just show up. Dress code - think "cuted up cottage". Don't know how to get there? Email programs@aslcmembers.ca and we will connect you with someone. See you then!
