How do I register for programs?
Here are our pro tips to make it as seamless and easy as possible:
Before you do anything, know that we really are a tiny little volunteer team. The Director of Programming can answer most of your programming questions via email (programs@aslcmembers.ca). They'll be on deck and checking emails regularly starting April 26th. (This email address is NOT regularly monitored prior to this date). Added tip - state your query succinctly and clearly in the subject line.
Please remember to buy your membership in advance! A current membership is required for all program registration.
Please update your contact and family info in CourtReserve. Having your child's birthdates allows us to better plan programs that meet your needs.
And of course to buy your membership you'll need a CourtReserve account as well. If you've forgotten your password, CourtReserve can send it to you via the login page.
If you don't get into everything you want, have a look and see if there's an afternoon option open. All lessons and activities have a waitlist if needed and the system will notify you automatically when a spot becomes available. If the waitlist is full, email the Director of Programming and they can add you manually to the waitlist.
The flip side of that is only register for programs that you'll actually attend. I know how tempting it is to grab this, that, and the other when you're one of the first to register! Sharing is caring! Leave spots for others that you are unlikely to use. They’re planning their summer too!
Be patient. To awkwardly mix some metaphors, we're the little engine that could with no wizard behind the curtains. We have a few paid teen employees but for the most part, this is a volunteer-driven organization. And the volunteers are your lake neighbours who are also at Ston(e)y for their holidays. Be kind. Be patient. Take a deep breath. Although we've double and triple and quadruple checked, hiccups MAY occur during the registration process. We will sort them out as soon as possible.
